375 reflects the zeitgeist of the 1950s. The designers probably had an aperitif or a conversation in the lounge in mind, when they designed the original petite armchair in 1957. At the time, a new era was dawning: the 1950s in Germany were characterized by joie de vivre and optimism. A new sense of prosperity and a forward-looking approach characterized everyday life.
