Glass residence in Vilnius, Lithuania
Surrounded by a sparse mixed forest and a large lawn, the transparent two-story villa with its individual shape blends harmoniously into the green landscape. Furniture by Walter K., made of the finest materials such as marble and saddle leather, conveys style and well-being.
The ground floor of the villa features an open-plan living and dining area facing the transparent façade. This airy, double-height room is flooded with daylight. Surrounded by light-colored walls, a wooden floor, and select works of art, you can enjoy the view of the garden from the spacious gray Grand Suite Sofa. Horizontally aligned, the sofa visually connects to the landscape outside the window. In this linear, warm setting, our artfully shaped Tama Side Table made of the finest marble has a sculptural effect.
Timeless design and openness
The elegant white staircase strikingly extends into the space. It leads to the upper floor, and underscores the openness of the space with its slightly reflective surface. From here the view opens up onto the garden and the living room.
Precise craftsmanship down to the very last detail
The living room is adjoined by a dining area with a view of the garden, which is reminiscent of a park. Here, the timeless color and material concept continues in brown and black. It reflects the modern architecture, while at the same time taking a back seat to the surrounding nature. Our Saddle Chairs in fine saddle leather are arranged in the dining area around the large Tadeo Dining Table with solid wood top. The production of our Saddle Chairs with their precise seams and elaborately polished edges requires master craftsmanship practiced over many years.
Clean lines and naturalness in the kitchen
An elegant work lounge almost amid the greenery
The office with its large glass facade and slender pillars is an ideal retreat for quiet but also communicative work. Our iconic FK Chair provides a seat at the Keypiece Management Desk. The clear, open atmosphere of the room stimulates communication and conveys lightness. Intimate meetings can be held in the seating group of Healey Lounge Chairs with upholstered armrests, complemented by several Oki Side Tables. A laptop or tablet can be placed on the armrests of the chairs. The centrally positioned Oota Side Table with its glass top and fine trellis work reflects the villa’s design concept of transparency and grace.
